Battle for Bengal: EC responds to TMC supremo's charge, calls it factually incorrect

The EC sternly responds to Mamata Banerjee's allegations of the breakdown of low and order during the phase-2 poll elections in Nandigram and regards her charges as factually incorrect in a strongly worded letter. The letter discourages Banerjee's who also happens to be the CM of the state took an approach to formulate a media narrative hours after the incident and attempted to misguide the biggest stakeholders 'Voters' in this scenario. The EC goes on to call it the greatest demeanour affecting the law and order in West Bengal and maybe some other states especially while the election process was still on. Further on, the EC made it very clear that there was no evidence or tampering of evidence whatsoever, giving a minute to minute breakup of what exactly transpired and how protocol was followed and no central forces were compromised or intimidation of voter by BSF jawans, backing their stance with CCTV footages showing a smooth and steady run elections.
