Firstly because of its phallus-like shape and secondly the commissioning of new submarine comes few days after the condom ad ban decision by Information and Broadcasting ministry. Though Twitterati is making jokes about the submarine we cannot deny the fact that INS Kalvari is one of the best submarines that Indian Navy has. “Kalvari is a potent Man o’ War capable of undertaking offensive operations spanning across the entire spectrum of Maritime Warfare. She embodies cutting-edge technology and compares favorably with the best in the world,” the navy said.  What are your views? Let us know in the comments below.
