Balochistan Liberation Army Chief Aslam Baloch Among Six Killed in Kandahar Suicide Attack

Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA) leader Aslam Baloch was among the six killed in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan’s Kandahar on December 24. Baloch’s four accomplices were also killed in the attack.

Kandahar, December 26: Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) chief Aslam Baloch was among the six killed in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan’s Kandahar on December 24. Baloch’s four accomplices were also killed in the attack. According to Pakistan Media reports, a bomber attacked the residence of the BLA’s commander and at around 4 pm. The BLA leader was the mastermind of the attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi on November 23. At least seven people, including three terrorists, were killed in a gun attack on the Chinese consulate. Eye-witnesses claimed that the attackers were in possession of hand grenades, which they threw inside the consulate campus. Baloch was also responsible for an attack on a bus carrying Chinese in Dalbadin area of Balochistan. Six people including three Chinese engineers were injured in the suicide attack. The bus carrying Chinese engineers was being escorted by Frontier Corps (FC) troops to the Dalbanin airport from Saindaik cooper and gold mines when the assailant tried to hit the bus with his explosives-laden vehicle.
