Baloch activists brainstorm at seminar on CPEC and its impact on Balochistan

A seminar on the burning issue of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its impact on Balochistan was held in Geneva on Monday. Prominent world leaders such as Vice President of the European Parliament, Ryszard Czarnecki, and Baloch activist Mehran Marri brainstormed on the subject. CPEC is a multi-billion dollar project that aims to connect Kashgar, a province in Western China to the port of Gwadar based in Pakistan's Balochistan. On the sidelines of this event, another seminar on the 'Systematic state suppression on basic human rights in Balochistan' was also held.
