Australia bans flights from India citing a surge in COVID cases

Australia has banned passenger flights from India in response to the countries surging coronavirus outbreak. Presently in India, there are 14 Australian players, 2 commentators, and 2 coaches, who are participating in the Indian Premier League. Cricket Australia is in constant touch with the Australian government as to how to deal with the ongoing situation. All the players are ready to play IPL but demand clarity as to what will happen once the IPL ends. There is certain unrest amongst the Australians that are now remaining in the country. Initially, Iran, UAE, Canada, Singapore, and many other countries had barred travellers from India.
