Kejriwal apologises to Nitin Gadkari and Kapil Sibal to settle defamation cases

Following AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal's apology, Nitin Gadkari has withdrawn his defamation complaint.

Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has yet again sought an apology. This time from Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for making unverified allegations against him.

Kejriwal also sought an apology from Kapil Sibal and Amit Sibal.

Delhi CM Kejriwal wrote a letter to Nitin Gadkari expressing regret and said "both of us are in public life belonging to different political parties. I made certain statements, without regard to its verifiability, which seem to have hurt you and there you have filed a defamation case against me. I have nothing personal against you. I regret the same."

"Let us put the incident behind us and bring the court proceedings to a closure", he wrote.

Following Kejriwal's apology, Gadkari has withdrawn his complaint.
