Arrangements made for BSF jawans at border to beat the heat

Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), Apr 02 (ANI): Heat waves have gripped parts of India. Hot weather persisted in Thar Desert, Rajasthan and the temperature has reached to 40 degree Celsius that made the situation tough for the security forces deployed on the border of Jaisalmer. JS Sandhu, BSF Commandant said, “The temperature has reached to 42°C and it’s been difficult for the Border Security Forces. All arrangements have been made for the security forces like shelter, clothes, food and water needed during patrolling. Also, the doctors are sent there on the regular interval there. The temperature would reach up to 50°C in upcoming days.”
