Arnab Goswami denied interim relief by Bombay High Court; Republic TV promoter to stay in jail?

Republic TV promoter Arnab Goswami has been denied interim relief by the Bombay High Court today. Arnab Goswami was arrested by the Raigad police under the charges of abetment to suicide. The case dates back to 2018. Arnab Goswami's lawyers moved the High Court, requesting interim relief for the promoter of the Republic TV. The lawyers have cited political vendetta and have stated that a closure report was filed in the same case earlier.

Bombay High Court, however, has denied the bail, after hearing both sides extensively for almost three days. High Court has also stated that other legal remedies and going to the lower court, is an option that is still open for Arnab Goswami.
