New Zealand beat India in the second T20 by 40 runs to level the three-match series 1-1. The visitors scored 196/2 after winning the toss with Colin Munro scoring a brilliant 109 not out. But the hosts got off to a poor start and despite a fighting innings by skipper Virat Kohli lost the match as the batsman failed to keep pace with the stiff asking rate in the last few overs.

Legendary Indian opener Virender Sehwag was at his witty best on ‘April Fool’s’ day.  Not too many people can match his humour and oneliners. The former dashing opener’s tweet left everyone shocked.  He made a dummy ‘New York Times’ in which a report claimed that ‘former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is in line to be next US President’.

Sehwag is known for his witty tweets. After retiring from international cricket he has become a standout performer which helped him to gain enormous popularity. The article is written by a writer called Stephen Smith. With Australian media termed Indian skipper Virat Kohli ‘Donald trump of cricket’, this could be an indirect dig at Australian captain Steve Smith.

According to the report, Viru is touring the USA regularly, and Donald Trump administration has been in touch with him. The report also claimed Trump and former USA President Barack Obama are fond of him and want to see Sehwag as president of USA. Also read: IPL 2017: Virat Kohli to miss early weeks of season 10

Even the report claimed the Incumbent President Trump is expected to discuss the issue with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

In reality, Shewag has hardly any chance to become a President of USA unless he becomes a citizen of the country.

During his cricket career, he used to crack backbone of opposition bowlers which gave his fans enormous joy. After retirement, he is doing the same cracking jokes on twitter.
