The new Khan of Bollywood, Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Actor Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, recently appeared on Koffee with Karan. During the show, she shared a story about her battle with PCOD.
She said that her weight was 96 kilograms when she was in college. She said it was because of a hormonal disorder.

The major part of our lifestyle is influenced by our eating habits. Fast foods can escalate this disorder. Leafy vegetables contain potassium, iron calcium and minerals which are needed to combat PCOD.
Colourful food is the key here. Foods rich in anti-oxidants help manage PCOD therefore aim for including bright vegetables like red and yellow bell peppers, sweet potatoes, brinjals and beetroots in your daily diet.
If you are suffering from Polycystic Ovaries then you must avoid processed foods, canned juices, soda, high GI foods like mashed potatoes, corn, chips, cookies and candies.
Workout, stressing less and an active lifestyle is important as mentioned by Sara Ali Khan too.
So stressing won’t get you out of this, but what will get you out is the tips above and frequent medical attention.
