Without experimentation, a field as vibrant and wide as fashion is prone to become mundane. While it's always a relief to know that we have the likes of Sonam Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu serving as the guardians of the industry, some celebs tend to cross the line with their fashion experiments. VJ Bani's recent look is a case in point.
Gracing a coveted red carpet recently, the television personality tried to get a little too experimental, and failed miserably. Sporting a weird ensemble in the shades of beige and steel-blue, Bani gave us an unfathomable red-carpet look, to say the least.

Bani wore a turtle-neck, tent dress that had a vertical visual division created by the two colours, which looked quite unpleasant. Making things worse for the outfit was the combination of turtle-neck, one-shoulder and cape-sleeve patterns that gave the outfit a really shambolic appearance.
Like the not-so-great design of the outfit wasn't enough, Bani even failed to style it right, as she donned a narrow, crimson-red belt over the asymmetric-hemlined ensemble.
Adding insult to injury, Bani opted for a pair of pointy, ankle-length, red boots, in a vain attempt to match them with the belt and maintain a synchronisation. The boots looked really tacky, thanks to the cheap-looking sheen they exuded, and pulled down the look further.
Bani finished this not-so-great look with a high pony, and a pop of deep-red on her lips.
