'We Have Jobs To Do': Twitter Rejects Milind Soman's 7-Hour Marathon Proposal

Last year, actor, model, and marathon enthusiast Milind Soman or the "Iron-man" of India turned the Ultraman after finishing the Ultraman marathon in Florida which is considered to be the world's toughest endurance challenge.

This year looks no different. Now, the fitness freak he is, 53-year-old Soman has set a new fitness resolution for himself that includes a 7-hour marathon. Every day. Yep.

And he doesn't want to run alone. Taking to Twitter, Soman made an offer to Twitterati they happily refused.

He wrote, "Guys this year, I’m starting a new fitness resolution! Doing a 7 Hour Marathon every day! Yup, you read that right. Who wants to join me? #7hourmarathon"


Netizens wanted to join the marathon, only one that did not involve running.

The then 51-year-old Soman had finished the marathon in 41st place after a 10-kilometer swim, 421-kilometer bike ride and 84.4 kilometers of running in a span of three days.

Ultraman is reportedly the toughest triathlon in the world, with a whopping 10 km swim in open waters, 423 Km of cycling and 84 km ultramarathon within just three days! Ultraman Florida, is a three-day, 321.6-mile individual ultra-endurance event and has three stages.


Stage 1 - 6.2 miles of swimming followed by a 92 mile ride

Stage 2 - 171 miles bike ride

Stage 3 - 52.4 miles of running
