Xiaomi's website Mi.com has set up a live event page for the Redmi Note 5 launch and the company is expected to start the event at  12 pm IST. This live stream can be viewed by users who have a Xiaomi account. Additionally, Xiaomi India's Facebook page will also start a live stream around that time and we can also expect a live stream link on YouTube.

So what can you expect of the Redmi Note 5? Well, according to many >reports on the internet, the phone is expected to sport the Snapdragon 625 or the Snapdragon 636 chipset. There are most definitely going to be two storage variants of the device and there are some other rumours which say that Xiaomi might even launch a toned up version of the Redmi Note 5.

In the camera department, the phone might have a dual-camera system on the back and also an upgraded front-camera.
