polls' Hyderabad, Oct 25 (PTI): The two-day national convention of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, to be held here from Saturday, would gear up the young members for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and also adopt a political resolution, BJYM chief Poonam Mahajan said Thursday. "This 'Adhiveshan' (conference) is called 'Vijay Lakshya 2019'. 'Vijay Lakshya' is we are looking forward for 2019," she told PTI here. "What we want to tell our youth, especially those working at the booth level is that we want to work for the people... ensure victory for the people and our Prime Minister Narendra Modiji," she said. The conference, to be attended by about 70,000 delegates from all over the country, will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on October 27. With BJP seeking to position itself as the alternative to the ruling TRS in the December 7 assembly elections, party chief Amit Shah will address a rally on October 28, the concluding day. Several national leaders, including Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, are also expected to attend the event. There will be a political resolution and another resolution called NaMo 2.0, Mahajan said. "There will be a resolution called NaMo 2.0. What we have done in four and half years and (what) we are looking forward as youth and the government will be doing for the people," she said. The BJYM leaders would speak on a wide range of topics, including Uniform Civil Code, student politics to mainstream politics and nationalism, she said. Women delegates would speak on the women-centric development for the country, she said. Asked what would be BJYM's role in aiding BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha elections, she said BJYM has huge data of its members and can connect to any booth member online. "One booth, 10 youth. If you take any booth anywhere in India, you will find the youth wing data ready for it. So we can work towards it. BJYM wants to reach out to every booth to make more beneficiaries out of the schemes of the NDA government and the BJP-ruled states, she said. "What we want to do in every booth... there are lots of schemes of Government of India and every state government where we are holding the position there, we want to reach out to those people and to make more beneficiaries out of these schemes. BJYM has already been doing that," she said. Some of the schemes include 'MUDRA' yojana, Stand Up India-Start Up India, she added.
