The card reading sessions are held two days in a week - Tuesday and Friday- for two hours and Apoorva never miss to attend it.

Dr Pratibha Singh, who has been conducting card reading sessions in the jail, said, "Apoorva approached me initially. We have completed seven classes so far. Apoorva always makes it a point to attend the classes. In fact, once due to her court hearing, she missed a class and expressed regret." According to the reports, Apoorva, a lawyer by profession, always had a keen interest to learn to read tarot cards but couldn't do it due to several reasons. The murder accused usually stays quiet and sits in a first row during the lessons, the teacher said. In fact, Apoorva has learned reading 15 of 78 cars in the seven lessons. "We have classes in English and Hindi but she prefers to take classes in English. In fact, she requested me to give a detailed explanation of tarot cards in English," Dr Singh said.

Apoorva is lodged in the woman's cell and doesn't showed any signs of regret for murdering Rohit Shekhar following an argument. Shekhar was killed on April 15. The accused killed Shekhar due to unhappy married life and the victim's plan to give property to his sister-in-law's son.
