Calcutta: Three from Bengal made the cut in the 15-member East Zone squad for the Duleep Trophy tie, against South Zone, to be played in Visakhapatnam, from October 14.
Anustup Majumdar, Ashok Dinda and Iresh Saxena were included in the squad, which was selected on Monday, at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association's International Stadium Complex, in Ranchi.
Odisha's Nataraj Behera has been named the captain. Anustup will be the vice-captain.
The meeting of selection committee was held under the chairmanship of national selector Saba Karim.
It was also announced that due to unavailability of Debashish Mohanty, Assam's S. Saikia has been made the coach of the team.
