Singer Ankit Tiwari is again in the news for wrong reasons and this time it is for breaching a contract. A USA based company lodged this FIR in the Oshiwara police station. They have been summoned for questioning but the singers are currently not in town.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the manager at Deep VIP Travels (an US-based event company)has alleged that he contacted Brotherhood Entertainment (a firm that is owned by Ankit and his brother Ankur, while Shilpa Rao is a partner in the firm) and got in touch with Ankit Tiwari two years ago with regards to performing at a show and the singer too agreed for the same. Akriti Kakkar has also been roped in for the show. Reportedly, the company alleged that the singers were paid Rs 30 lakh for the show. But despite paying the said amount two years ago, the singers have not acknowledged or responded to the commitment.
