Tech industrialist Anand Mahindra is known for his social media presence and skills to promote positive messages. From sharing motivational examples to cracking jokes at times, Mahindra knows how to hold up his audience on Twitter.
On Friday, the tech genius took an opportunity to share his opinion on the ways to fight COVID-19. Sharing a clip of a 70-year-old vehicle attempting to cross a massive crack, Mahindra suggested how off-road skills might come handy at times. The vehicle belongs to World War II, with no modern tech, huge tyres or power steering.
His tweet read, “Lost count of the number of people who have forwarded this clip to me. No surprise that they’d think I’d enjoy it. But I also see it as a visual metaphor for how all of us are attempting to negotiate the perils of Covid-19 & its impact on our lives: We need ‘off-road’ skills!”
The tweet has received around 65 thousand views in just two hours of being shared, with almost four thousand likes.
A user mentioned how the combination of human machines and great efforts ended up well.
Another one mentioned how India also needs good jeeps with strong engines.
People lauded the vehicle and the human behind the wheels for driving the jeep off the massive crack.
Getting the COVID-19 message from the tweet, a user replied, “For us even the front wheels haven't come out of the golden crack. #COVID19India.”
Globally, India stands third as the country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases. With more than 16 lakh cases, the number of daily cases is on a constant rise.
