Security agencies tracking scores of Kashmiri youth who might have joined terrorist outfits stumbled upon the latest photograph of Mannan Wani and shared it with the UP Police a few days back.
It has been passed on to the anti-terrorist squad of the UP Police.
Police are currently investigating whether Wani, whose whereabouts are unknown, had been radicalizing youths at AMU.

Mannan Bashir Wani, son of Bashir Ahmed Wani, was pursuing a PhD in applied geography at the AMU when he made the news in January for his alleged ties to the Hizbul Mujahideen.
Wani went missing on 2nd January, and three days later, Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin released a statement confirming Wani's inclusion in the terror outfit's ranks.
