Today the world is celebrating International Women’s Day 2018. March 8 is dedicated as the day to celebrate the importance of women in the society, workforce and family. A woman’s role is very important and everyone’s life as they are the mothers, the nurturers, the caregivers. A woman whether she is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend or a sister always manages to take care of her loved ones through her quiet strength, tenderness, intelligence and instinct. Today, the woman has stepped out of her traditional role as a homemaker and conquered every field out there. On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and many Twitter users extended wishes and named the women who inspire them and greeted a happy women’s day to everyone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi even went a step ahead and shared a tweet in which he wrote, “Moving from women development to women-led development. #InternationalWomensDay.” He urged the Twitterati to write about some women who inspire them and took the first step and named Kunwar bai as the woman who inspires him. Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, on the other hand, asked the Twitter users to tag the extraordinary women in their lives and in turn tagged wife Anushka Sharma in his tweet.
