Amitabh Bachchan Trolled For Sharing Fake Photo Of Lanterns On The Golden Temple During Diwali – Check Tweets
Hoaxes are a common thing on the internet. Especially during Diwali, the festival of lights, which people are easily allured by, and also easily fooled by. Just like the supposed picture that NASA recorded from space, of a bright and well lit India during Diwali was debunked as a hoax, there is another new picture out there of not a number of polluting firecrackers above The Golden Temple in Amritsar, but numerous lanterns sailing in the air.
The beautiful picture of the lantern above The Golden Temple started to make rounds on the internet, fascinating every odd person fooled by its photoshopped nature. And one of them happened to be Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan, like many others, must’ve encountered the picture cycling the internet and shared it with his followers captioning it: “This is simply DIVINE!!”

Consequently, there were many of his followers telling Big B that the photo he’s shared is unreal and is created using photoshop. Some even pointed out the fact that there was indeed no reflection of all the light in the water below. From another article online we found out that the picture of the lanterns has been borrowed from a picture of the Festival of Loy Krathong in November 2013, an event in Thailand. Anyway, now you know the truth.
