Amazon India Fashion Week A/W'17 dedicates its opening day to Indian Handlooms, Textiles

The four-day fashion extravaganza Amazon India Fashion Week in association with Maybelline New York Autumn Winter ' 2017 (AIFW AW '17) kicked off on Wednesday where 13 designers showcased their collections. The designers played with hues of white and grey on skirts, pants, tops and dresses. The opening show celebrated the home-grown handlooms and textiles in the presence of Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani. Designers like Neeru Kumar, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rohit Bal and Suket Dhir showcased their collection on the opening day. The fashion show organised by India's apex fashion body Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) started today at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and will conclude on March 18.
