‘The Amazing Race’ Crowns Two New Champions

After visiting nine countries and 17 cities, and traveling more than 36,000 miles, The Amazing Race arrived in Chicago for the finale. There were three teams vying for the grand prize of $1 million, and in order to win they had to run all over the Windy City.

The race started with a NASCAR race at Chicagoland Raceway, which Brooke and Scott won. After that, the contestants had to put together a puzzle by visiting some of Chicago’s most notable landmarks, including the Chicago Water Tower, Buckingham Fountain, and Wabash Avenue Bridge. Again, Brooke and Scott were the first to finish the challenge.

For the final challenge the contestants had to hand out hot dogs to Cubs fans on the roofs across from Wrigley Field. In exchange for the hot dogs, the fans gave them tickets to Wrigley Field, where they had to post the number of where they placed for all of the challenges throughout the season.

Scott and Brooke finished the final challenge first and dashed off to the finish line, where they were crowned the winners of Season 29.
