One of the most prominent entertainment stars in Pakistan, Ali Zafar is well-known for his singing and acting talents. After seeing much success in Bollywood, the actor has now turned his sights to Pakistani cinema, with his and recently even debuted with Teefa in Trouble. But before becoming an actor, Zafar was better known for his music. The singer turned actor turns 39 today and we celebrate some his best songs.

Zafar is known to be one of the key musicians to change the face of Pakistani pop music. He debuted as a musician along with the album Huqa Pani which was a big hit and success for Zafar whose five million copies were sold worldwide.

1. Sun Rey Sajaniya

If you know Ali Zafar, you have definitely heard this track. The catchy track not only became famous for its video but also Ali's effortless singing.

2. Ae Dil Kisi Ki Yaad Mein

Ali Zafar joined Coke Studio Pakistan in 2008 and performed three original songs "Allah Hu", "Daastan-e-Ishq" and "Nahi Ray Nahi", and one tribute song "Yaar Daddi Ishq" to Muhammad Juman, in season one and two. One of his other contributions on the show has also been the love "Ae Dil Kisi Ki Yaad Mein".

3. Jhoom

"Jhoom" is one of the most popular songs of the actor. The love ballad is a favourite of Ali Zafar fans. It is one of the earlier tracks from his career.

4. Tu Hi Hai
