Akshay Kumar will be seen playing a baddie in Milan Luthria's upcoming film ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI AGAIN, sequel to ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI. The film also stars Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
More than being a do-gooder or a hero, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar loves playing an Anti-hero on celluloid! The Khiladi may have enchanted the audience with his heroic styles over the years but the fact is Akshay loves being mean and nasty on-screen. After a long time Akshay will be seen in a negative role and he is mighty excited about it. The last time we saw the actor as baddie was in the film AJNABEE.
He believes Anti-hero has certain charm and it gives him kick portraying it.
When asked as to how he feels essaying the role of a larger-than-life villain, he said, "Whether the character is larger-than-life or not you will get to know when the film releases. At present, I am enjoying this role. I am grateful to my director Milan Luthria to give me a role, which I never got a chance to perform. Playing a villain there is altogether a different charm and fun. If you observe when I play a villain there's a different charisma on my face. It gives me a kick playing baddie on-screen. Playing a Hero is the gloomiest thing. He always suffers and suffers, while Anti-heroes lead their lives with all the glory."
