Air Traffic Control officer blamed for MI-17 crash in Srinagar

An air traffic control officer has been blamed for the MI-17 crash on February 27 in Srinagar. In the crash, the Indian Air Force lost six personnel when their chopper was suspected to be hit by own SPYDER air defence missile over Budgam. Around the same time when the Pakistan Air Force launched a counter attack on the military units on the LoC, the air defence units at the Srinagar air base suspected that some enemy missile or aircraft is coming their way.
