The Air India flight AI 459 from Delhi to Vijaywada had over 100 passengers including Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapati Raju onboard.
The onboard passengers protested and questioned the minister for the delay. Raju immediately asked Air India CMD Pradeep Kharola for the reason behind the delay, Air India Spokesperson GP Rao said.
