Ahead of 8th round of Govt-Kisan dialogue; Farmers threaten total blockade, if laws are not repealed

Today is a very crucial day for the farmers' agitation as the eighth round of talks is going to be conducted between the Centre and the Farmers Unions. This is just a day after farmers took out their tractor rally and have plans for a big tractor rally on the 26th of January when India will be celebrating its Republic day.

While the centre still remains hopeful of some solution or breakthrough with the farmers, the Kisans continue to remain adamant and they have just a single demand which they have been talking about which is repealing all three farm laws which the centre isn't quite okay with. The Centre has accepted 2 of the other key demands made by the Kisan Unions.

Ahead of this 8th round of dialogue, the farmers have issued an ultimatum and threatened to block all routes to Delhi if the farm laws are not repealed. Listen in to BKU leader Rakesh Tikait.
