Even though there are memes on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements on Janta Curfew and 21-day lockdown, but it is really commendable how he has made the nation unite during the quarantine. One of the memes said that it feels like a Bigg Boss house as Modi ji comes and assigns tasks to the citizens, who are locked inside their houses. After the huge hit of the Janta Curfew when everyone came out in their balconies and appreciated the efforts of the critical service providers by clapping, clanging metal vessels, or ringing bells for five minutes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced another activity for the citizens. He had asked everyone to shut the lights of their home on April 5, 2020, at 9 pm for 9 minutes and light candles or diyas or flash mobile lights. And making this task too, a huge success, everyone did come out to ward off the darkness that surrounds the prolonged Coronavirus pandemic and welcomed a ray of brightness. The Bachchan family also weren’t far behind to stand in solidarity against the COVID-19 outbreak.
While Amitabh Bachchan flashed torchlight in the sky and his granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda captured the moment, Abhishek Bachchan along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan lighted diya in the temple at their home. Shweta Bachchan Nanda shared Big B’s photo and thanked her daughter, Navya for clicking the picture. Shweta captioned her post as “Papa (in lieu of Alexa) please switch on the moon xx.” When Navya commented on the picture with a heart emoji, her mother, Shweta replied, “@navyananda thank you for the pictures Nouv.” Aishwarya and Abhishek had twinned in white and their little one, Aaradhya too, complimented her parents in a white dress with black stripes on it.

She had captioned it, "Happy Holi to all. Love and light." Amitabh Bachchan had posted unseen family pictures from Holika Dahan at their residences and a picture of him gorging on the yummy gujiya. Excerpts from Big B’s blog can be read as “On the auspicious occasion of the festive Holi... greetings and love... may there be happiness and the vibrancy of colours in our lives... this be my prayer to the Almighty... In the serene divinity of the brightest moon, the Holika is burnt the night before the day of the festive Holi... So in the lawn of Jalsa, and Prateeksha the Holika is burnt with traditional rituals performed about it... The family on hand... Abhishek is shooting for ‘Bob Biswas’ in Kolkata...
