New Delhi, April 03:  The Aam Aadmi Party leadership has pulled off a peace deal with Kumar Vishwas as he has been given a bigger role in the party. He has been made the in-charge of Rajasthan. MLA Amanatullah Khan has been suspended from party’s primary membership. Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia informed the media after PAC meeting on Wednesday that was attended by Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh and all the other members of the body.

Kumar Vishwas agreed to attend PAC meeting after Arvind Kejriwal visited Vishwas on Tuesday evening at his residence to placate him. Earlier, he had skipped a PAC meeting held to sort out his differences with party leadership.

AAP’s founding member had fallen out with his friends and colleagues, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, after the MCD polls debacle. Kumar Vishwas had spoken out against party’s decisions and official line in the run up to the MCD polls. He had said that party’s tirade against EVMs was wrong and that party needs to introspect to find the real reasons for the loss. He had also talked about organisational changes in the party.

The real problem started with Delhi’s Okhala MLA, Amanatullah Khan opening a new front against Kumar Vishwas. He said Vishwas had his eyes set on the post of convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party–which is held by Arvind Kejriwal currently. He said Vishwas was a BJP agent. The MLA, later, resigned from the post of PAC. However, he didn’t budge from his position and levelled similar charges against Kumar Vishwas.

A hurt Kumar Vishwas said on Tuesday that Amanatullah would have been expelled from the party had he said the same things against Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal.
