The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), recently simplified the process of Aadhaar-mobile number linking process that allows subscribers to call on a toll-free number and to reverify and link their mobile number with Aadhaar.

While the service was initially implemented by Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular, the service is now available for BSNL subscribers too. Subscribers can now complete the re-verification process from home, by simply calling the toll-free number. Currently, the service is only available in select states, which includes Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Kerala and Punjab, TelecomTalk reports.
