Noida (UP), Oct 5 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar registered 186 new COVID-19 patients that pushed its infection tally to 13,916 on Monday, seven months since the district recorded its first case of coronavirus, official data showed.
The number of active cases rose to 1,345 from 1,333 on Sunday as 173 more patients got discharged, according to the data released by the Uttar Pradesh Health Department for a 24-hour period. The district has so far recorded 12,515 recoveries, seventh highest in the state, according to the data.
As per official figures on Sunday, the recovery rate of patients rose to 89.93 per cent from 89.88 per cent on Sunday, while the mortality rate stood at 0.40 per cent. There were 45,024 active cases across Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
So far, 3,66,321 patients have recovered across the state, while the death toll linked to COVID-19 climbed to 6,092, the data showed. PTI KIS RHL
