4 detained in Pune for selling 40 Remdesivir injections in black market

Pune Police detained four persons in Pimpri Chinchwad on April 10 with 40 Remdesivir injections meant for black marketing. This comes at a time when coronavirus cases are surging in Maharashtra and people are not struggling in getting the medication. "4 persons were caught based on the information from different places with Remdesivir vaccine. They were in connection with each other and used to inject in the body of a dead person and showed that the person had been vaccinated for COVID and after that they used to sell outside. The selling price to the needy was approx Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 1,100 available at hospitals," said Krishna Prakash, Police Commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad.
