4,000 Manipur migrant workers gather in Bengaluru to go back home amid lockdown

Bengaluru, May 23 (ANI): Around 4000 migrant workers from Manipur have gathered at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru for registration to return to their homes amid lockdown. Social distancing was missing during their gathering. State minister K Sudhakar who also visited Palace Grounds urged stranded labourers to maintain social distance. Speaking to ANI, K Sudhakar said, "I talked to them, they are worried and want to go back to Manipur but I hope they will return to Bengaluru as this is their second home."
