‘3rd wave of COVID isn’t inevitable,’ says ICMR’s Dr Samiran Panda

New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): The Head of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of Indian Council of Medical Research, Dr Samiran Panda said that there is a possibility that 3rd wave of COVID 19 can hit India by August end, but it can be avoided. “States need to look into their own COVID data and check, at which stage of the epidemic they are in. The third wave could happen around the end of August but it isn't inevitable. We need to be more careful”.
