3 PAC battalions to be raised in UP named after women warriors: CM Yogi

Lucknow (UP), Mar 20 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday paid floral tribute to the statue of Avantibai on her death anniversary event organized at Hazratganj. CM Yogi while speaking at the event said, “Today it is 163rd death anniversary of Rani Avantibai and she vowed to fight the British to regain her land and her throne and sacrificed her life.” “Three PAC women battalions to be established after three women warriors who sacrificed themselves in India's freedom struggle - Rani Avantibai Lodhi, Uda Devi and Jhalkaribai. All formalities are complete,” CM Yogi added. “I believe the sacrifices of these women won’t go in vain, Love and sacrifice would keep inspiring us and every individual and we would maintain strength and unity of the country by following the same path,” he further said.
