“A total of 28,33,756 applications were received during the first phase of the Abhiyaan. The applications were received online, through drops boxes and during camps,” chief minister Raman Singh said while interacting with mediapersons here at his official residence today.
“The Abhiyaan was planned in such a way that the focus should be on redressal of the grievances,” he said.
In the first stage of the three-phased campaign, applications were received from the people in connection with their grievances from February 26 to 28.
In the second phase from March 1 to April 2, necessary action was taken on applications received from the people.
Under the third and last phase of the drive starting from tomorrow till May 20, 2017, grievances redressal camps will be held across the state and the chief minister will pay surprise visit to these camps.
“I will pay surprise visit to redressal camps. I will observe the implementation of development works and schemes.
Besides, I will also attend such camps and will hold review meeting in each district,” the CM said.
In the third phase, people will be informed about the status of action taken on their application besides apprising them of various government schemes, he said.
The CM added that he will visit 27 redressal camps and hold review meetings at 20 places.
The applications received include the ones related to drinking water, Ujjwala scheme, PM housing scheme, shortage of teachers and demanding liquor ban among others, the CM said.
