Director of SKODA AUTO India, Zac Hollis has confirmed that the 2021 OCTAVIA sedan will be launched in India within the next two months, i.e. by May.

As for the highlights, the car will have an eye-catching design and an upmarket cabin with a host of features. It should be offered with a choice of two BS6-compliant petrol engines.

Exteriors: The car will sport a chrome-surrounded grille with slats

The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA will have a sporty look, featuring a sloping roofline, a muscular bonnet, a chrome-surrounded grille with vertical slats, a refreshed bumper, and sleek headlights.

It will be flanked by blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. Wrap-around taillights and 'SKODA' lettering will be present on the rear.

Dimensions-wise, it will have a length of 4,689mm and a wheelbase of 2,686mm.

Fact: It should be offered with a choice of two engines

The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA should draw power from a SUPERB-sourced BS6-compliant 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 188hp/320Nm and comes linked to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol motor that makes 148hp of power might also be available.

Interiors: The vehicle will have a spacious and tech-loaded cabin

The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA will have a spacious cabin with automatic climate control, a sunroof, a wireless smartphone charger, and a multifunctional steering wheel.

It will house a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit and a 10.0-inch infotainment console with voice assistant and support for SKODA Connect.

The safety of the passengers should be ensured by multiple airbags and a rear-view camera.
