To celebrate the 98th birth anniversary of its founder, Carroll Shelby, US carmaker Shelby has unveiled a limited-run Speedster variant of its Super Snake model. Its production is limited to 98 units.
As for the highlights, the 2-seater convertible comes with cosmetic updates inside-out and draws power from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that churns out 825hp of power.

Exteriors: The car sports a blacked-out grille
The Shelby Super Snake Speedster has an aggressive look, featuring a raised hood, flared fenders, canards, and extra vents. It also has a blacked-out grille and sleek headlights.
It is flanked by ORVMs, two doors, sharp body lines, and blacked-out 20-inch wheels wrapped in performance-specific tires.
A wing, vertically-positioned taillamps connected with a black band, and quad exhaust tips are available on the rear.
Interiors: The vehicle has space for two passengers
The Shelby Super Snake Speedster has a luxurious 2-seater cabin, featuring a hard-top tonneau system that comes with flying buttresses and covers the rear section.
The interiors are laced with unique badging, stripping, as well as "Speedster Edition" floor mats and door sill plates.
There is also a center console with cup holders, a multifunctional steering wheel, and an infotainment console.
Performance: It runs on a 825hp, 5.0-liter V8 engine
The Shelby Super Snake Speedster draws power from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 825hp of maximum power. The motor is linked to a manual or AMT gearbox.
The car comes with a Brembo braking system, Shelby springs, performance half shafts, a rear stabilizer bar, and an optional Penske-developed track-specific suspension system.
