A fire broke out early this morning in a shop on Mumbai's Khairani road, killing at least 12 people.
After firemen pulled them out of the debris, they were declared dead before arrival at Rajawadi hospital.
According to initial reports, the fire broke out on the ground floor and intense heat and smoke trapped the twelve victims in the loft, which collapsed.
The Mumbai Police said traffic had been diverted.
A Fire has broken out at the Farsan (Sweet) company at Khairani road., Sakinaka due to which traffic has been diverted on the Andheri kurla road.
