Ministry of Information and Technology on Wednesday banned 118 Chinese mobile apps in India including PUBG Mobile. The latest move to ban new Chinese apps come as the second wave from the Indian government after it initially banned 59 apps that included TikTok. The biggest addition in the list is PUBG Mobile, one of the most popular battle royale games that we have seen in years alongside its light version for phones with less RAM. Some of the other banned apps are- Wechat Work, Smart App lock and Ludo World. The Indian Government has also claimed that the move was in the interest of India's sovereignty and integrity, defence and security.
