Yogi Adityanath predicts no party will get clear mandate in UP

Gorakhpur, Feb 11 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that it is unlikely that any party will get clear mandate to form the government in Uttar Pradesh.

"No government will be formed in the Uttar Pradesh. BJP, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will definitely fight for number one position in the state but I believe no one will be able to form their government here and we want that both the BJP and the Congress should not extend their support to either BSP or SP as it might be lead to their extinction. They should, instead, opt for elections next year," Adityanath told media here.

Expressing displeasure over Law Minister Salman Khurshid's statement on 2008 Batla house encounter, Adityanath called for his dismissal.

"After the statement given by Salman Khurshid on Batla house encounter, he should be dismissed. He should be dismissed because the cabinet is collectively responsible for everything. Delhi police is under the ambit of Home Ministry, which means Salman Khurshid is trying to hold Chidambaram responsible. These people are of dual nature and public must know their dual nature and they should reject them in one way," he said.

Recently Khurshid had remarked that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had cried after watching the photographs of the Batla house encounter.

"When we showed photographs of that incident to Mrs. Gandhi, she wept bitterly and requested us not to show her those pictures. She told us to speak to the PM immediately. But due to election we could not take that idea," Khurshid had said.

The Batla House encounter officially known as Operation Batla House, took place on September 19, 2008, against suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi, in which two suspected terrorist, Atif Amin and Mohamed Sajid, two other suspects Mohd Saif and Zeeshan were arrested, while one accused Ariz Khan managed to escape.

Encounter specialist and Delhi Police inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, who led the police action was killed during the incident. (ANI)

I still think Mayavati's BSP will lead the vote tally and may be even get a majority. Never underestimate Behanji who can turn everything to her advantage blaming everything to the Central government even matters pertaining to state subjects. As is well known, there is a vast caste divide in UP and Mayavati's clan is intact and will believe anything and everything she says. The vast voter turnouts may also be worrying for Congress and BJP.

Yogiji, what you are saying, every body said before 2007 elections. But disproving all poll-pundits, media & political gurus the common people of UP gave a clear & decisive mandate in favour of BSP. This year too it is going to be repeated.

Mr.Aditya Nath said correct as no party will get a clear main date including BJP so he rightly said that in case BJP do not get a main date it good for BJP to be alone as opposition party rather then making joint government with BSP OR SP or Congress. So what is wrong in that ?
