Bangalore, Oct. 23 (ANI): Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Tuesday said that he will formally announce a new party on December 10 this year.
"I am not going to talk anything related to BJP, because I am not in the party. So, I am not going to talk anything related to that party. I am going to start a new party on the December 10," Yeddyurappa said.
Yeddyurappa had earlier said he would embark on a statewide tour after resigning his State Assembly membership in December.
Yeddyurappa has reportedly finalised plans to float a regional outfit in Karnataka ahead of the next year's assembly polls. He has invited leaders from all districts for a discussion, sources said.
He has accused the BJP leadership of deceiving him.
Yeddyurappa quit as Karnataka Chief Minister in July 2011 over mining bribery charges, and has since then, slammed both national and state BJP leaders for not reinstating him as chief minister and for not appointing him as the Karnataka BJP chief. (ANI)
