New York, Sept 20 (ANI): An American man on trial for allegedly killing his wife, has told police he slow-cooked her body and then dumped it out as kitchen waste.
This grisly detail emerged during the second week of the murder trial of California chef David Viens, accused of killing his 39-year-old wife, Dawn Viens, in October 2009.
David recounted how he caused the death of his wife and disposed of her remains.
David 49, said on the night of October 18, 2009, he taped his wife's mouth and bound her hands and feet to prevent her from "driving around wasted, whacked out on coke and drinking."
"For some reason, I just got violent," the Los Angeles quoted him, as saying.
He said he panicked when he woke up the next morning and found his wife dead.
According to the paper, he told investigators that he stuffed his wife's lifeless body into a 55-gallon drum of boiling water and kept it submerged with weights.
"I just slowly cooked it and I ended up cooking her for four days," he told the police. (ANI)
