NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident in Delhi's Swaroop Nagar, two women and a child were killed when two men went on a shooting spree before attempting suicide that left one of the shooter dead, PTI reports.
Police said that the shootout appeared to be a crime of passion in which one of the shooter shot targeted his own family members, killing his daughter and his woman friend.
The attackers, Manish and Rajbeer rode a motorcycle, killing Jyoti and Usha; and then went to Rajbeer's house where Rajbeer shot his wife and two daughter.
Rajbeer's daughter Khushi was killed on the spot.
A senior police office told PTI that preliminary investigation suggested that the shootout was a crime of passion.
The injured were admitted to the Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital for treatment.
This is the second shooting incident to happen in the capital this week.
