London, Feb. 2 (PTI): Actresses Uma Thurman and Debra Messing opted for Indian outfits while shooting for their new TV show Smash.
Thurman, 41, was spotted in an embellished, pink salwar kameez with a bindi and matching bangles while Messing, 43, was wearing an elaborate green and gold sari.
She topped off the embroidered garment with heavy gold jewellery and a pair of flip flops while Uma wore pointed silver pumps, reports the Daily Mail.
The musical series will hit TV screens in America this week, before it airs in the UK later this year.
Smash is a behind-the-scenes look at a team preparing to put on a Broadway musical about the life of Marilyn Monroe. Messing has a starring role in the drama while Uma is so far listed as appearing in just one episode.
Both ladies seemed thrilled with the outfits they were styled in as they beamed for the cameras while taking to the streets of the Big Apple.
The series boasts an impressive cast that also includes English actor Jack Davenport and Hollywood veteran Anjelica Huston.
