London, Oct 28 (IANS) British pop star Tulisa Contostavlos is foraying into writing after signing a deal to write her first novel.
The 24-year-old released her autobiography, Honest, My Story So Far, recently and she is now working on a new fiction book, reports contactmusic.com.
Contostavlos reveals the story will be inspired by her real life, telling British newspaper The Daily Star, "I'm writing a novel. Let's say there are elements of the book based on real-life characters I know... It's exciting for me. It's something that I wanted to do with the same publishers as my autobiography.
"I do a lot of reading. I like crime novels and my number one author is Martina Cole," she added.
