Transgenders happy with 24-hour helpline in Bangalore

Bangalore, July 9 (ANI): Members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community are happy with the 24-hour helpline, that has been running in Bangalore to counsel and assist them. The helpline named 'Samara', that was launched five years back for the LGBT community, has been running successfully. Suma, Director of Sampangiram Nagar branch of 'Samara' said the need for such helpline was felt when the sexually minority people realised that they were not being supported by the family and the society.
