Toyota launches 'Toyota U Trust' used car business in Faridabad and Chennai

Toyota U Trust Chennai show roomToyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) commenced Toyota U Trust operations in Faridabad and Chennai, in order to facilitate sale, purchase and exchange of Toyota and non-Toyota cars. Toyota will now have 21 outlets, offering ‘Toyota U Trust’ services to Indian customers.

Thirty Six Toyota, Faridabad (NCR), offers a dedicated showroom ambience, providing a superior experience for buying and selling of used cars. Lanson Toyota, Chennai has opened its second independent Toyota U Trust facility, at Nandanam located in the heart of the city. Toyota U Trust aims to offer potential customers an opportunity to exchange their ‘Cars of any make’ for a brand new Toyota, allowing them an opportunity to upgrade. It will also, cater to customers who want to exchange their cars for competitively priced used Toyota cars. Customers will also be provided with a wide range of value added services including, finance options at the ‘Toyota U Trust’ outlets.

Toyota U Trust is an important part of the ‘Value Added Services’ provided by TKM, to the customers. Based on the enthusiastic response, received from its customers and also the dealers, Toyota is now looking at a phased expansion to 35 dealers, in 25 cities by Mar 2013. This is to ensure that, TKM U Trust Operations cover approximately 85 percent of the market. Customers are eligible to obtain ‘Certification’ for the Toyota vehicles they purchase through Toyota U Trust. The vehicles are also eligible for a warranty up to 1 year/15,000 km. Additionally, the customers can avail of three free services (with most of the labour charges waived off) at Toyota dealerships. Warranty is also provided on the engine and gearbox, of all certified Toyota cars.
