Tom Cruise filing rival divorce case against Katie Holmes

London, July 4 (ANI): Tom Cruise will be filing a rival divorce case against Katie Holmes, his lawyer, Bret Fields, has said, adding that they were letting the "other side play the media until they wear everyone out".

Fields, however, refused to divulge from where the 50-year-old actor will be filing his papers.

The attorney said that for the moment the Mission Impossible star's camp was content to let the 33-year-old actress have the spotlight.

"We are letting 'the other side' (Katie and her team), play the media until they wear everyone out and then we'll have something to say," the Telegraph quoted him as telling BBC Radio 1.

"Tactically we can't say where Tom will file a divorce case and if he'll be seeking joint custody of [daughter] Suri," he said.

Cruise, who was named the highest paid actor in Hollywood by Forbes, on Tuesday, has remained tight lipped ever since his wife of five years filed for divorce last week, other than his spokesman saying he was "deeply saddened" by the developments. (ANI)
